The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an integral part of the Owairoa Primary School community.  The PTA is responsible for supporting Owairoa through fundraising and parent assistance of social activities run by the school. 

 

Our PTA co-operates with and support the Board of Trustees and Teachers to ensure the best possible opportunities are available to the students of Owairoa Primary School.   All parents with children at Owairoa Primary School are automatically members of the PTA.

Our friendly and informal meetings are held monthly on a Tuesday night at 7.30pm in the school staffroom.  At these meetings we organise events and facilitate the smooth running of PTA initiatives. 

Please come and join us, we are sure you will enjoy meeting other likeminded parents and gain further information on what’s happening in and around the school.

The PTA regularly issues a newsletter to the school families providing details of upcoming events and showcasing past fundraising and social initiatives.
