On Friday, 17th October, our middle school had the pleasure of celebrating Grandparents and Grandfriends Day! It was a heartwarming day filled with fun activities, creativity, and special memories.
The day began with a concert in the hall, where selected learners performed songs and shared their talents to welcome our special guests. Following the concert, grandparents and grandfriends visited classrooms, where learners engaged in a variety of activities. They drew and painted pictures of their special person and filled in fun information sheets about them, making this a truly personalised and memorable experience.
After an afternoon of laughter and creativity, grandparents and grandfriends gathered once again in the hall for a delicious afternoon tea. It was a lovely opportunity for our special guests to chat, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.
It was wonderful to see the joy on the learners’ faces as they spent quality time with their grandparents and grandfriends. We thank everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable!
