Learning, Growing and Thriving

By February 10, 2026No Comments

Welcome to a new academic year and to the start of our 2026 journey. It has been a pleasure to see Middle School students return to school with renewed energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the year ahead.

It is my pleasure to welcome both our returning families and those who are new to our school community this year. We value the partnership we share with whānau and look forward to working alongside you throughout 2026 to support your children’s learning and wellbeing.

Middle School is an important time for students as they grow in independence and confidence. Developing new routines and taking greater responsibility for their learning are all key steps in this transition. Middle School staff encourage students to be resilient, take risks, and to approach learning with a positive mindset. Each student is supported and guided as they navigate their own learning journey.

This year, the Middle School is made up of eleven classes. Team 3 includes five Year 3 classes led by Mrs Jo Owen, while Team 4 consists of six Year 4 classes led by Ms Joline Kennard. Both teams benefit from strong, experienced leadership, with established routines already in place. Our team leaders and teachers are committed to creating positive, motivating learning environments, and are ready to embark on a year of growth, discovery, and success
