The start of Term 4 has been filled with energy and enthusiasm for our Middle School students, who have eagerly engaged in new learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum.

In Science, students have been exploring the fascinating topic of electricity. Through hands-on investigations, they have discovered how static electricity can be created using balloons.

In Mathematics, students have been developing practical life skills by learning to tell time on analogue clocks to the nearest five minutes and learning how to count money. These lessons have helped students strengthen their number sense while connecting mathematics to everyday experiences.

In Writing, students have been working on persuasive pieces, learning how to express and support their opinions with reasons. A highlight has been reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears and debating the big question: Should Goldilocks go to jail for breaking into the Bears’ house? The lively discussions and creative arguments have showcased the students’ growing confidence as writers and thinkers.

The Middle School is also buzzing with excitement as students prepare for our upcoming Grandparents’ Afternoon. They have been creating beautiful pieces of artwork to proudly display for their special visitors, and can’t wait to share their learning and achievements.

Overall, it’s been a fantastic start to Term 4. We look forward to seeing our students continue to grow, learn, and shine throughout the rest of the term!
