What a wonderful day we had celebrating International Day!
Our day started with a colourful parade where learners proudly showed off their beautiful cultural clothing. It was wonderful to see so many different countries and cultures represented. We then came together for a whole school assembly to celebrate the special day.
After the assembly, learners returned to their classrooms and got busy with a range of fun International Day activities. These included writing about a moment in time and creating International Day artwork. There was lots of creativity happening in the middle school classrooms!
In the middle block, we were treated to a special concert where some of our talented learners got to showcase their amazing talents. It was fantastic to see everyone cheering and supporting their classmates.
Then it was time for lunch! Learners enjoyed their delicious lunch orders and had a chance to relax and chat with their friends.
We finished the day back in our classrooms, continuing the activities we had started earlier. The middle school classrooms were filled with happy chatter, big smiles and lots of creativity.
It was a fantastic day celebrating the many cultures that make our school community so special!
