RISE Above It

By March 15, 2022No Comments

With Term 1 progressing, senior students have formed a strong rhythm as they engage in their learning routines. They are enjoying working hard and playing hard. Some friends have been isolating, and most students know of a whanau member or friend that is experiencing Omicron.

We are proud to say that, during these current challenges, senior learners are persevering, and drawing on our RISE values.

Respect is being encouraged and shown for our Covid safety plan. Following rules, as well as respecting each other, is a daily opportunity. Ensuring we remember to show integrity, kindness and honesty, as we learn alongside each other, is key to us all thriving.

Learners are being encouraged to remember to look after themselves and each other so that our self-esteem prospers. Excellence is what we have been striving for in our studies. Teachers are displaying amazing learning within their classrooms.

We are finding that keeping our smile is largely due to anchoring our behaviours, and choices, to our uniquely grown Owairoa RISE values.
