Our middle school recently celebrated Sea Week with a range of fun and meaningful activities that helped us learn more about the ocean and its incredible marine life. Learners explored the theme in creative and engaging ways.
Some learners designed informative posters about dolphins, sharing fascinating facts about their habitats, behaviour, and the importance of protecting them. Others spent time reading books about the ocean, discovering new information about sea creatures and deepening their understanding of marine environments.
Other classes focused on art, creating beautiful drawings and paintings that captured the wonder of life beneath the sea. Writing activities also gave learners the chance to reflect on the ocean and express why it is so important to care for it.
Sea Week was a great opportunity for everyone to learn, create, and appreciate the wonders of the ocean together.
