Over the past few weeks the Year 4 learners have enjoyed settling into their new classes. They have been busily creating beautiful pieces of art and writing about themselves. There has been lots of discussion about the year ahead and what goals they will have for 2023.
Students have also been carrying out statistical surveys and making graphs about their classes and noticing similarities and trends.
Room M2 learners have been looking at effective communication skills. They have had lots of fun interviewing each other as ‘talk show’ hosts while building their oral language skills.
Room M3 learners took some time out to get to know each other with a range of puzzles and games. They enjoyed working with classmates and making new friends.
We all look forward to an exciting year ahead with upcoming trials for netball, football and the HPPA interschool swimming competition.
